CUP is seeking a summer intern to assist with several current projects, including:
- + Research/general project support on CUP's Community Education tools
- + Design production work for print using Adobe CS products
- + Production work on our education tools, including painting, assembling,
- silkscreening, etc
- + Digital archiving of past youth education projects
- + General project support, as needed. This may include research, database and website upkeep, and administrative work
We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills—friendly phone manner a must. A background in art, design, planning, or previous experience working with community or advocacy organizations is useful. Proficiency in Adobe CS is a plus.
Position dates are flexible, based on candidate's availability, but we anticipate a start date in late May/early June. We're looking for a candidate who can be in the office at least 30 hours a week, over the course of 10 weeks. The internship pays $11 hourly or interns can choose to receive school credit if your school offers it.
