Free For All? Debut Presentation

_Free For All?_ Debut Presentation

On June 1, 2018 students from the International Community High School presented the Free For All?.

Students from the International Community High School collaborated with CUP to dig into the idea of free college tuition. With New York’s Excelsior Scholarship, should college be free for everyone? What are the different types of academic degrees? How much does higher education actually cost? Who decides? To investigate, students got out of the classroom and into the realm of higher education to survey educators and school staff on the value of a degree and the possible hidden costs of education. Students debuted their project at the International Community High School, where they explored their future plans for life after high school and demonstrated their critical analysis skills.
