Red Hook Rising!

Red Hook Rising!

This summer, CUP has been collaborating with Teaching Artist Elliott Golden and students from the Red Hook Community Justice Center (RHCJC) to investigate the impacts of marijuana legalization on New Yorkers.

Over the summer students explored the issue through documentary filmmaking, collaborative art projects, and interviewing Judge Alex Calabrese and Edna McGoldrick from RHCJC, Melissa Moore from the Drug Policy Alliance, and New York State Senator Jabari Brisport.

See photos of the students in action here!
