CUP's Community Education Program Director Ingrid Haftel and Community Education Program Manager Oscar Nuñez will be participating in the Center for Family Life symposium, Sanctuary Families: Preparing and Protecting Our Immigrant Neighbors. The discussion will focus on supporting immigrant parents facing forced separation from their US-born children and those willing to serve as guardians for those children.

The event will also feature the unveiling of a visual workshop tool, created by Center for Family Life, CUP, and designer Lizania Cruz, depicting guardianship options for immigrant families facing deportation.
