Sewer in a Suitcase Demos in Brownsville and Governors Island!

Sewer in a Suitcase Demos in Brownsville and Governors Island!

On Saturday, July 20th, CUP broke out the Sewer in a Suitcase for two great outdoor events.

CUP came to Governors Island as part of the Metropolitan Water Alliance’s City of Water Day to teach about how the combined sewer system impacts the health and safety of all New Yorkers.

In Brownsville, CUP came to Brownsville Multi-Service Family Center (BMS) for their BMS Summerfest. The street was closed off for jumping rope, fencing, dancing, a bouncy castle, and… Sewer in a Suitcase! It was great to connect with youth and teach them about the sewer system.

If you would like to get your own Sewer in a Suitcase, or have CUP come out and do a workshop, get more info here
