The Public School Avengers Debut Presentation

_The Public School Avengers_ Debut Presentation

On October 17, 2017 students from Red Hook Community Justice Center presented The Public School Avengers.

Students from the Red Hook Community Justice Center collaborated with CUP to peel back the layers on school segregation. To investigate, students got out of the classroom and into the politics of education to speak with people invested in the future of NYC’s publich high schools, from students and parents to educators and policy makers. Students debuted the booklet they created, shared the creative process, and were joined by interviewee Council Member Carlos Menchaca at the Red Hook Community Justice Center’s Mock Courtroom.
