CUP is hiring an intern!

CUP is hiring an intern!

As a CUP intern, you’ll assist with several projects and learn about CUP’s methods for using design to meet community needs.

We’re looking for an intern to assist with:

+Research and general support with CUP’s Community Education and Youth Education programs, like Making Policy Public and Urban Investigations

+Administrative work, like communications, database, and website upkeep (prior web experience not required!)

This is an entry-level position intended for those who haven’t had access to many internships or opportunities to work in an office or nonprofit environment. We’re looking for someone with a passion for social justice, great attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills. While research is a part of this position, it’s more of a general support role.

Dates for the internship are flexible, but we’re looking for someone who can work in the office at least two days a week and ideally start in January. Please include your availability in your cover letter.

The internship pays $15 per hour, or you can choose to receive school credit if your school offers it.

Please send a resume, letter of interest, and contact information for two references as one PDF (not to exceed 3MB) to apply@welcometocup.org by Friday, December 13th, 12PM EST. Please use the subject line “CUP 2020 intern.”

No phone calls, please.

CUP is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fair and inclusive employment practices, and strongly encourage people of color, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and others who may contribute to the diversification of ideas to apply.
