Red Hook round-up

Red Hook round-up

This summer, students are collaborating with CUP, the Red Hook Community Justice Center, and Teaching Artist Ro Garrido, to dig into how Conspiracy Laws are used to police youth and charge them with "gang involvement" based on who they know.

Over the past few weeks they’ve learned how to conduct and document interviews and recently interviewed stakeholders at The Osbourne Association, JustLeadershipUSA, the Graduate Center at CUNY, and NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
