Help CUP create community-based COVID-19 tools

Help CUP create community-based COVID-19 tools

As the impacts of the pandemic and the ways it exacerbates racial and economic inequities are becoming clearer, our focus at CUP is also clear. Every day we’re making sure that individuals from marginalized communities have the information they need to claim their rights, access critical services, and hold the government accountable.

Make a donation to support CUP’s work now. Today, all donations will be matched by the CUP Board, up to $10,000!

Our community partners across the city are asking us for information their constituents urgently need now. They’re asking CUP for tools to support their constituents on issues like navigating unemployment, especially in languages other than English and Spanish; using technology to access education and remote city services like applying for benefits; and understanding the eviction moratorium and other housing assistance programs that have been rolled out amid great misinformation and confusion.

We need your support to do what we do best — work with communities to break down complex and essential information into accessible, visual tools. Understanding this information can mean secure housing; unemployment payments; and access to technology, education, and critical services. Right now, this information means survival.

Please make a donation today to help CUP quickly create the tools New York City’s most vulnerable communities need right now. Click here to donate now!
