How do you become a New York City Council Member? In the Spring of 2012, CUP teamed up with teaching artist John Dalessi and an 11th grade English Language Arts class at the Academy of Urban Planning to uncover the process. The students created this booklet full of visual metaphors for the essential steps to a seat in the City Council. How is getting on the ballot related to a Justin Bieber concert?
